I got recommendation to get this kids set because my baby’s hair is tough. I was a bit skeptical because I have tried different products that worked and stopped working and I gave it a try. The shampoo is very thick. Just a little cleans so well, even stubborn buildup. The follow up wash out conditioner smells divine and starts the softening process. Once you wash that out, you add the real magic: the yummiest smelling leave-in conditioner that adds shine, softens the hair further, and defines curls with ease. Interestingly, the shine lasts for two days straight without re-application. The hair growth oil is super child friendly with a mild smell. A little on the scalp goes a long way. I have bad experiences with edge control that holds poorly and flakes. I noticed the edge control melted from its jelly-like state to liquid form when I took out the seal. I kept it in the fridge and it went back to its original state. Before then, I tested the edge control in its liquid state and it held my thick adult edges and also did justice to my child’s edges. So there you go!
